So, I'm finally here. After entirely too long of a day of flying (boy my arms sure are tired har har har)  I touched down in Dublin at around 11:15pm local time.  All in all it was very successful and very uneventful, except for the part one and left my iPad on the plane and  thankfully the crew of Aer Lingus Flight 102 was able to find it and pick it up and give it to me after I realized and was running back to the terminal to try and find it. Hooray! It's not like I need it or anything.

After that was all  returned and situated I got through customs with ease, found my luggage right away and headed to the car highers to pick up my noble steed. And oh what a noble steed it is. I think I'll call him Reginald. Reginald the Citroën Cactus. He looks like a shoe. No scratch that, he looks like a cool cross trainer.  After I went and picked it up I was trying to put my hotel address in so that I can finally go to bed after 2 o'clock but no, the GPS would not work.  Parrulli sleep is not to be in my future, because it took a 20 minute wait to get it sorted out.  Finally, after getting it sorted out and getting on the road I realized listening to the woman in the GPS box is going to take some getting used to. Things like "roundabout" and "take this exit" are not in her vernacular.  Things like roundabout and take this exit are not in her vernacular.  As a result, I got to see some parts of Swords that I was not expecting.

Finally, I am in my little motel room still trying to take it all in. Not fully being able to understand or grasp that I'm actually here. I will post up pictures of some things tomorrow, but for now I'm slightly between exhausted and dead. So now it's sleepy time.

Also, one last thing. Ireland has a very interesting smell. I've heard that it does and somehow it's what I expected, I think it's almost like I dreamed.
